Wonder Woman Wakes Up Christian Women

``

Okay let me just come out and be honest by saying that I saw Wonder Woman last night and it was….AMAZING. Like so amazing- I would seriously see it as many times as possible AND I want to purchase the DVD. It’s that cray cray. What made it amazing was the fact that Diana ( aka Wonder Woman) knew of her powers, and her beauty, but her heart and humility stayed consistent.

Ladies, I feel as though I need to make an SOS for us. I need to claim something that I have been seeing and it is time for us to stand up. This may make us uncomfortable, and it may make you mad at me but I am TIRED of seeing powerful women who KNOW their worth and their birth right and are allowing the enemy to dictate them.

Let me chat with my fellow Jesus-loving sisters:

GIRL. This is your sister telling you to wake up, get up, and GET OUT.  Proverb 14:1 NIV 1.” The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears it down.  You may be thinking, “Okay Brittany, I am SO totally that woman who is building up her house….BUT my circumstances are difficult, I keep having the same hiccups, the temptations are too strong…

I understand and I love you and I have been there. Most of my content is very encouraging and I hope with all my heart that you are encouraged by this but LADIES…we are under attack. Now is not the time to wait, to make excuses, or to push off being a stronger, better you! When I saw Wonder Woman, I immediately grabbed Justin and said I wish that all Christian women were like this! We hide behind our bleeding highlighted bibles and then act a whole different way when trouble comes our way.

How can we build a house- (a strong community, world )if we don’t be brave enough to pick up the tools?

Let me encourage you by bringing you back. I want to remind you of WHO’s you are, and that you were not made and put on this earth to just party, sleep around, pay bills, and die.

Got it? Let’s go, friend! 😀

1.  Lay your foundation. Whatever you feel called to do, RUN TO IT GIRLFRIEND. I pray you sprint. I want you to have a fire in your belly for the thing that makes you go cray cray. For me, that is encouraging women to be warriors, to wake up and jump off that cliff every.dang.day. And to come back at the enemy. Laying your foundation can look like a multitude of things like, surrounding yourself with like-minded, determined women, or having a mentor, or writing down what your calling is so that way when you drift away, you can come back to your foundation. It is your foundation afterall…

25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like aa foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:25-26

(*Did you know? Lioness hunt in a pack. They need each other in order to get their prey. Without one, they may not be able to eat/ feed their pack.  They are powerful, brave, and they work together. They represent the fighter side that I am talking about. We need to stop playing the victim and thinking that the world is happening to us. All the while, I researched and found out that while they can be cazy and killer, they “remain playful into their adulthood which helps them bond with their cubs. Random fact- but it also pulls into the fact that we don’t have to be brave all the stinkin time! That’s not what I am saying. Be silly.  Nobody wants a crazy fighting Christian lady. There’s too many who get that wrong;)

2.  Remember your cause. What makes YOU passionate? Where do you get your passion from? Remember that fear is normal, it happens to all of us, but it’s what’s on the other side of fear..that’s where you need to be. The world has way too many women taking a backseat when it comes to being full blown, crazy warriors. How many times did I use the word crazy? Hahah!! I get SO excited talking about this because I can see an army building of women who are tired of following the world’s standard for their life, who are tired of waking up constantly depressed, fearful, and lonely. I don’t want to give away too much of the movie, but please go see it for yourself. It was the best movie I have seen in a long while. Wonder Woman was strong, powerful, Beautiful, but she was also confused at times and in a new unknown world. But she still didn’t give up or give in. She had a fire in her belly, and a cause to fight for. What is your cause?

Wake up sister. It’s time to fight.

Talk soon,

Miss Beautymark xx
